BOOSTER cLUB- ABOUT US

Purpose:

The purpose of the Club is to promote the football program at De Pere High School in an atmosphere that is consistent with the educational philosophy of the school community.

Objectives:

Develop an organization with an active and involved membership that is concerned with the football program and all of its participants regardless of sex, race or socio-economic status.

Promote school spirit and sportsmanship and encourage attendance at all football events.

Encourage and support the academic endeavors of our student athletes.

Provide supplementary financial support for the football program and related activities at De Pere High School.

Aid the enjoyment of the families and fans by organizing and staging special events and projects.

Aid and support the school staff in the areas of promotion, publicity, and program development.

Did you know?

The DePere Redbird Football Booster Club raises money through its annual golf outing, apparel sales and other activities which is used to support the Redbird football program. In 2008, the booster club partnered with the soccer and track booster clubs and the school district to install a state of the art sound system at Dad Brashier field. The club also works with the coaching staff to support the needs of the program by purchasing equipment, paying for coaches clinics, upgrading player busses for long trips, and supporting activities at DePere High School such as Grad Bash.

The Booster Club also provides financial support to the middle school programs that feed DePere high school as well as support to the summer Redbird Football Camp, ensuring future Redbirds are ready for some football when they arrive at DePere High School

In addition to financial support, the Booster Club works to create team spirit and an exciting atmosphere at all Redbird Football Games and support for the team throughout the community. The Booster Club sponsors activities for Redbird Football players and families and distributes posters and schedules for area businesses to display. Through the apparel sales, the Booster Club makes sure that all fans have an opportunity to dress in Redbird Football gear and show their Redbird pride!
